Mrs. Sendie Lou Patterson Roach, age 89, of Hiawassee, GA, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2008 at Chatuge Regional Nursing Home. Mrs. Roach was born Sunday, June 16, 1918 in Clay Co., NC to the late Maiden and Margaret Ledford Patterson. She was of the Church of God faith. She was preceded in death by husband, Carlos Roach, daughter, Maxine Dayton and son, Emerson Roach.

Survivors include: 5 Daughters, Jean Roach Wood of Woodstock, GA, Annie Sue Satterfield of Woodstock, GA, Juanita Ledford of Hayesville, NC, Judy Smith of Smyrna, GA, Brenda Roach Brewer of Hiawassee, GA; 2 Sons, Charles Roach of Hiawassee, GA, Rudy Roach of Hiawassee, GA; Special Daughter, Helen Thorne of Dahlonega, GA; 2 Sisters-in-law, Anna Walker of Clayton, GA, Jen Roach of Black Mountain, NC; Brother-in-law, Johnny McManus of Charlotte, NC; 4 , fourteen grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews,, and all of her Day Care Babies.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 14, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Glen Eller officiating. Music will be provided by Erica Roach and C. T. Hussion. Interment will follow in Shooting Creek Church of God Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Doug Bradley, David Roach, Daniel Roach, Ricky Satterfield, Rodney Satterfield, Tyler Ledford, Bryan Smith, Jason SmithJoah Smith. Honorary pallbearers include: Doug Bradley, Rebecca King, Teresa Ledford, Angie Latherman, Kim McGuirt, Jana Hussion, Erica Roach, Johnny Allison, Lee Roach and George Ensley.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-9, Sunday, January 13.
