Our beloved mother, Antonette 'Nellie' Lisella, 101, of Newington, the wife of the late Ned T. Lisella, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, (October 28, 2008), at Hartford Hospital. Born March 21, 1907 in the Thompsonville section of Enfield, she lived in Hartford before moving to Newington. She is survived by her loving and devoted family, her children Michael Lisella and his wife Darlene, John Lisella with whom she made her home, and Patricia Kilray and her husband Edward, all of Newington; her six adored grandchildren Thomas Kilray, Mark Kilray, Ann Koss and her husband Marc, Michele Jackson and her husband Chris, Cindy Barron and her husband Kenny all of Newington, and Michael Lisella and his wife Susan of Newport, RI; and her eight great grandchildren Devin and Michael Koss, Mallory and Riley Jackson, Matthew, Daniel and Elizabeth Barron all of Newington and Jacqueline Lisella of Newport, RI. She is also survived by her sister Enes Landry of Agawam, MA as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers Michael Bocchino and Raymond Bocchino and one sister Evelyn Mascola. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 31, at 10 a.m. at St. Lawrence O'Toole Church, 494 New Britain Avenue, Hartford. Everyone is asked to go directly to the church.
