Obituary for Carmen L. Spagnola

Carmen L. Spagnola, 82, of Bethlehem, died Saturday, June 26, 2010, in the VNA Hospice House of St. Luke's, Lower Saucon Twp. He was the husband of Concetta A. (Zazo) Spagnola for 55 years. Born in Bangor, he was the son of the late Lorenzo and Constance (Callie) Spagnola. He was an Navy Veteran who honorably served his country from 1945-1946. Carmen was a barber in the Bethlehem area for 60 years. He was a member of Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church, where he was a parishioner for 53 years. Survivors: wife Connie at home; sons Carmen T. Spagnola and his wife Robin of Lakewood Ranch, Fla., Anthony C. Spagnola of Bethlehem; sisters Mary Donatelli of Stroudsburg, Anna Rosado and her husband Lorenzo of Bangor; brother Sam Spagnola and his wife Katherine of Bethlehem. He was predeceased by his brother Dominic and sister Vincene. Services: 10am Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday June 30, 2010 at Ss. Simon & Jude Church, 730 W. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. The family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30-10am in the church. Inurnment will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. Memorials: in lieu of flowers, to the church and/or Hospice of the VNA of St. Luke's 1510 Valley Center Pkwy. Suite 200 Bethlehem, PA 18017.
