Charles, Chris and family, I just wanted to let you know how sorry I am to hear about your Dad. I thought the world of him. He used to come in the post office when he was able just to tell me a joke or share some old war stories with me. I enjoyed that so much and he did, too. He would talk about your Mother and occasionally I would see a tear in his eye because he missed her so much. There was something about him that reminded me of my papaw. I know he will be missed by his family and friends but take comfort in knowing he is rejoicing in heaven because he is with your Mother. I pray that God will help you in your time of sorrow.
