Graveside services for Mr. Lawton Davis Brown, age 83, of Anniston, will be Monday, April 19, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Forestlawn Gardens with Dr. Roland Brown officiating. Mr. Brown passed away on Friday, April 16, 2010 in Anniston. A native of Paris, Tennessee, Mr. Brown served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was retired from the State of Alabama and was a member of Golden Springs Baptist Church. Preceding Mr. Brown in death are his parents, John S. Brown and Vivian Inez Cole. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Wanda R. Brown; one daughter, Adonica Deane and her husband, Steve; a son, Garrick Brown; his sister, Marilyn Cooley; one brother, Gerald Brown; several nieces and nephews.
