My deepest sympathy to the family of Jim Sellers family and to his many other friends. Of the many fond and humorous memories, one of the most memorable was of my "fan club," which was organized at The Doghouse and consisted largely of Emory Younkins, Pat Dalton and Jim. Often my band played played out in Derby, a waitress would step up to the stage, serve me a cold bottle of Miller High Life Beer followed by the message, "This is from your fan club," and an expression on her face that you would have had to see to appreciate. I regret that I never thanked Jim for giving me the proud distinction of being just the bass player of small-time local band with his very own fan club. Rest in peace Jim.
