Obituary for Charles Ralph Littlefield

Mr. Charlie Ralph Littlefield of Dothan passed away on Thursday February 11, 2010 at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center surrounded by his children and grandchildren. He was 82.

Funeral services will be held Monday February 15, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Taylor Assembly Of God Church with Reverends Thomas Harrison and Kenneth Martin officiating. The family will be receiving friends at Ward Wilson funeral home Sunday February 14, 2010 from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. Flowers will be accepted.

Mr. Littlefield was born December 11, 1927 in Dale County the son of the late Mr. Henry and Ella Green Littlefield. He was a member of the Taylor Assembly of God church.

He was preceded in death by his wife the Reverend Mrs Myrtle Littlefield on January 20, 2010, his Parents Mr. Henry and Ella Littlefield a brother Arthur Green ; a sister Bertha Littlefield. Mr.Littlefield was a loving husband, father, and grandfather to his family.

Mr. Littlefield was a dedicated employee of Sunnyland Packing Company, Showell Farms and Perdue Farms for over thirty-seven years. He was a faithful laborer beside his wife the late Reverend Mrs Myrtle Littlefield, in many area churches. He will be remembered as a Great Daddy and a very Special Granddaddy.

Survivors include his children Rebecca and Walter Birge, Paul and Sara Littlefield, Carrie Jean and Perry Culpepper, Eddie and Jane Littlefield, Charles and Patricia Littlefield, Mary and Sidney Paulk. Grandchildren Jacob, Joshua and Kaylee Birge, Kevin Littlefield, Courtney Stephens, Claudia Roberts, Lydia Armstrong, Mercy Malswamkim, Rebecca Devi,Carla Quattlebaum,Casey Woodall, Billy Paul Littlefield, Kellie Kuyl, Laura Berry. seventeen Great Grandchildren, one brother and sister-in-law Thomas and Pensie Littlefield, a host of nieces and nephews, many special friends and neighbors. The family would also like to thank all of his caregivers and medical staff.

Pallbearers will be grandsons of Mr. Littlefield.
