Obituary for Maisie Harris (Law)

HARRIS: Maisie age 101 formerly of Tupperville and Port Lambton passed away Tuesday December 22, 2009 at Fairfield Park Nursing Home, Wallaceburg. She was born in Dawn Township daughter of the late Ande and Olive (McFarlane) Law. Her husband Edgar Harris predeceased in 1999. Surviving is one daughter Norma and her husband Gordon Fitzgerald of R.R. 2 Port Lambton; daughter-in-law Beatrice Harris of Dresden; six grandchildren: James Harris, John Harris, Cindy (Marten) Doornekamp, Scott (Nicole) Harris, Sandra (Doug) Campbell, Robert (Renee) Fitzgerald; nine great grandchildren: Tyler (Jemina) Campbell, Testzalane, William and Johnny Harris, Ande and Matthew Doornekamp, Holly and Joshua Campbell, Karmyn Maisie Fitzgerald one great great grandchild: Dante Campbell. Also survived by Janice Mersereau, several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her son Lorne Harris (2009), sister Estella Stevens & her husband Chester, brother-in-law Earl Harris and his wife Ruth, nephews James Stevens, Glen Stevens and Roger Harris and a cousin William Bannister. Visitors will be received at the Thomas L. DeBurger Funeral Home, 620 Cross Street, Dresden on Monday, December 28, 2009 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Lewis Henry officiating. Interment in Dresden Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Gideons or the charity of choice would be appreciated.
