Obituary for Leroy C. Crile, Sr.


Leroy C. Crile, Sr., 67, of East Rochester passed away unexpectedly early Thursday morning, Nov 12, 2009 at his home.

Born September 20, 1942, in Marianna (Washington Co.), he was a son of the late Clark and Edna Crile. Leroy was raised in Marianna and relocated to East Rochester in 1976. He was a retiree of Pittsburgh Tube, Monaca, where he was employed as a draw bench operator with 33 years of service. Leroy was a member of the American Legion Post 580 and the Beaver Valley Sportmans Club both in Monaca. He was also a former member of the “Cruzin’ Few” car club. Leroy looked forward to his annual trips to DuBois for deer hunting.

He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife of 43 years, the former Mary Ann Young; a son, Leroy C. Crile Jr. of Butler; a daughter, Tina Correa of East Rochester; seven grandchildren, Leroy C. III, Elizabeth, Jessica, Gavin, Faustino Jr., Micheal and Adriana; two great-grandchildren, Leslie and Micheal Jr.; seven siblings, Florence Spragg, Diana “Debbie” Roupe, Paul Crile, Ralph Crile, Stephanie “Ann” Crile, Clark Crile Jr. and Sheryl Crile; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents Leroy was preceded in death by a sister, Cindy Bice and a brother, Gary Lee Crile.

Friends will be received Saturday from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 8 p.m. in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca. Rev. Doug Rabe of Monacrest Free Methodist Church will officiate.
