Condolence From: Doug Fletcher ( grandson )
Condolence: Dear Grandma and others who read this,
I am so sorry that I cannot be there. I am blessed to be your grandson. My words will be insufficient to express my feelings in a time such as this. I have always been a proud grandson. I remember the stories Grandpa would tell of his seminary days and hitchhiking around the Country. I remember him preaching on a few occasions. He was great at Brad and Heather’s wedding. At Thamesford camp I was amazed how everyone we would see had a fond memory or story to share. Grandpa showed me great love and provided me such a great example for my life. I know I have his laugh and sense of humor. My dad says I have some of his voice in me too. I sometimes catch myself chuckling at something funny or a funny situation and then thinking that he would have reacted the same way. I am a Christian today because I grew up in a Christian home that began from him. I thank God for Grandpa. I will miss him but also rejoice because I know the new heavenly life that is now his for all eternity. I also look forward to seeing him again someday. I love you Grandma and look forward to seeing you soon.

Condolence From: Paul Gast
Condolence: To the Fletcher family. As you may know I am the interim pastor at Charlemont FMC. I was able to visit Rev. Fletcher only one time and we talked only briefly. I am sorry Mrs. Fletcher that I missed you that day. Unfortunately I will not be able to make it to the funeral but I wanted to send you my condolences and this seemed to be the best way to do it. My prayer for your family is that God would fill you with His peace.
Sincerely Paul Gast

Condolence: Eventho I definitely will be at both the visitation and Funeral I just wanted to let you how much I love both your Dad and also your Mom my Aunt and Uncle. It feels like the end of an era but the begining of a new chapter for your Dads Life. I was remembering yesterday all the Family Christmas' and Holidays that all spent together and the wonderful times we had. I especially remember your Dad sayiny the graces for all our family meals. I loved to visit with your Dad & Mom both and the wonderful stories he could tell about his childhood and how young he was when Grandpa Fletcher passed away and and how devoted he was to his wonderful Ministry. He always appeared to me to be a very kind and gentle man always and he will for sure be greatly missed.

We all can take comfort in knowing that we will all be together again when out time comes and that Uncle John has now gone to be with his lord and all his brothers, sisters, Mother and Dad and everyone else.

See you real soon My deepest Sympathies to you all Judy & Jim and families, Donna and Riley and families and Charles and Elaine and families and know he is now in a better place. Love Carolyn
