Carmela T. “Millie” (Bruni) Connitt, age 83, of Perkiomenville, PA, died on Sunday, May 17, 2009 at her home. She was the wife of Robert M. Connitt with whom she shared 43 years of marriage.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Louise (Africano) Bruni. Mrs. Connitt worked for the Ford Company in Lansdale as an administrative assistant for many years.
She was an active member of Christ Episcopal Church, Pottstown, PA and for 20 years, volunteered her time at Grandview Hospital.
Mrs. Connitt enjoyed cooking, crafts and her pets.
She is survived by her husband Robert M. Connitt.
A viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, May 22, 2009 at Christ Episcopal Church, 316 E. High Street, Pottstown, PA. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. at the church. Rev. Terry I. Highland will officiate. Interment will be in Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA. In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Connitt requested those that wish to should plant a flower in their own garden in her memory, or make a memorial contribution to Christ Episcopal Church, 316 E.
