SCARPA, Mildred, age 85, died on Friday, April 10, 2009. Born in Brooklyn, Mildred lived in Toms River for 24 years before moving to Stafford Township, 5 years ago. Mildred was a Secretary at Dumont High School. She was a member of the Women's Club at Silver Ridge Park, a part of the WRITE Group and a member of the Deborah Society.
She is survived by her children Robert Scarpa of Manalapan, Susan Gallagher of Stafford Township, John Scarpa of Midland Park, and James Scarpa of Vernon, as well as 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Albert Cirillo of Evanston, IL. Mildred was predeceased by her husband John Scarpa in 2004.
