Mary DiLella
Of Endwell, New York

Mary DiLella, 87, of Endwell, New York was embraced by our Lord December 23, 2008 at the Lourdes Hospital Hospice unit. Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Dominick D. DiLella, parents Franco and Fortunata Mormile, Sisters Emily Mormile, Luca (Mormile) Ferri, Frank Mormile, Rose Mormile and Sister Jude Marie (Lucy Mormile). She is survived by; her three loving and caring daughters and son-in-law Mary and Carl Lanuti, Endwell NY, Suzanne and Jude DiLella, Binghamton NY, her extended daughters Judy Fortunato and Tina Sawicki; her three loving grandchildren, Dominick Lanuti, Buffalo NY, Gina Lanuti, Manhattan NY, and Teresa Lanuti, Boca Raton, FL; sisters-in-Law, Michele Reina and Rita DiLella, Whitting NJ and several nieces and nephews.

Mary was born and raised in Manhattan, NY and worked at Saks Fifth Avenue where she met her loving husband Dominick. They were married in Manhattan, resided in New Jersey where they raised their family and then moved to Endwell, NY in 1973. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed being surrounded by her family.

She was a member of Our Lady of Angels Church, Endwell. She loved to take care of her home and family. She loved dancing with her husband and always being surrounded by music. She had many happy years enjoying what she loved right up until recently. The family would like to thank the staff at Lourdes Seton 1, Lourdes Hospice unit and her Doctor, Mark Epstein for taking such good care of her. She had several home health care givers over the years and many loving neighbors, the family thanks them all for their support especially her very special friend Marilyn Kaschak.
