Marilyn  Bugh Haffner Schricker
Marilyn Bugh Haffner Schricker passed away peacefully on May 15 at the age of 86. She was born on May 26, 1929 in Wabash, Indiana to Howard and Mary (Snideman) Rish. She was a lifelong resident of Elkhart, graduating from Elkhart high school in 1947. She attended Mills College in Oakland, California.
Marilyn, a beautiful woman inside and out, was gracious, kind and generous. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family. She was a member of Elcona Country Club, Thursday Club and Tri Kappa. She spent many wonderful winters in Indian Wells, California where she made lifelong friends playing bridge and golf at Eldorado Country Club.
Marilyn was married to Robert (Bob) Bugh (deceased), Ralph Haffner (deceased), and is survived by Oscar Schricker. Marilyn is also survived by her brother Richard Rish, of Fort Myers, Florida; her three children Dr. Rob (Dr. Rhonda) Bugh of Wheaton Illinois, Lucinda (David) Huffman of Oklahoma City Oklahoma, and Randy (Susan) Bugh of Louisville Kentucky; her stepchildren Pam McClure (deceased), Dallas, TX, Cydne Haffner of Pasadena, California, Lisa Horning (Don) of Pasadena California, and Craig (Troy) Haffner of Fishers, Indiana; her nine grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, June 20, 2016 at First Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Elkhart.
