STIMAC, STEPHEN (STEVE)
AUGUST 28, 1930 - DECEMBER 1, 2006
It is with great sadness the family announces Steve’s passing at the age of 76 years. Steve was predeceased by his wife Slava and his immediate family in Croatia. Steve is survived by his children: Kathy (Paul) Keam of Sicamous, BC, Rudy (Jarmila) of Burlington, ON, Blaza (Terry) Edwards of Regina; grandchildren: Chris and Stephan Keam, Aaron and Jason Edwards, Stephanie Stimac; great-grandchildren: Jesse and Alexis; as well as numerous relatives in Croatia and Germany. Dad was born in Cadjavica, Croatia and came to Canada in 1958 with his family and continued to have pride and involvement in his Croatian heritage. Dad worked for the City of Regina until his retirement in 1991. Dad was known for his charitable spirit, his gardening, his great sense of humour and his dogs. He enjoyed spending time at the cottage and was always lending a helping hand. The family wishes to thank the staff on 3F at the Regina General Hospital for dad’s comfort and care. Prayers will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 8, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family R. C. Church, 1021 McCarthy Blvd. N., Regina with Rev. Brad Fahlman presiding. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
