Obituary for Billy Don Williamson

Billy D. Williamson, the son of the late W. J. and Mary Anna Fortner Williamson, was born in Essex, Missouri on June 9, 1932, and passed away at his home in Sikeston, Missouri on October 30, 2008, at the age of 76 years, 4 months and 21 days.
Mr. Williamson had lived in Essex, Missouri for many years before moving to Sikeston thirty-eight years ago. He was retired from Triangle Manufacturing in Sikeston, Missouri and was of the Baptist faith.
On September 26, 1953, he was married to Carol B. Uhland in Dexter, Missouri.
Surviving are his wife, Carol Williamson of Sikeston, Missouri; two sons and daughters in law, Mike & Johnna Williamson of Salem, Missouri, Jeff & Vonnie Williamson of Matthews, Missouri; two daughters, Vicki and Johnny Rodgers and Tammy & Terry Sloan all of Sikeston, Missouri; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Rachael Smith of Dexter, Missouri and Jean DeJournett of Essex, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by four brothers, his twin, Bob, Marion, Parvin and Marvin Williamson, two sisters, Lorene Barker and Ruth Fulkerson.
Friends may call on Saturday November 1, 2008, after 11:00 AM at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2008, at 1:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Norman Ogles of Puxico, Missouri officiating.
Interment will follow at the Triplett Cemetery near Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
