Ms. Karen E. Morris, age 57, of Anniston, died September 30, 2008 at NE Alabama Regional Medical Center.
Ms. Morris moved to Anniston eight years ago. She had lived previously throughout the East coast and in Florida. She had been a thoroughbred racehorse trainer for most of her life and had been a caregiver for her parents for the past eight years. She was also a dedicated volunteer at the Health Services Center in Hobson City. She is preceded in death by her father, James Morris.
Karen is survived by her mother, Geraldine Morris of Anniston; and sisters, Gayle Jones of Broomfield, CO and Laura Roberts of Reno, NV.
