Jane G. Markle, 77 of Douglassville, died September 22nd at 11:05 am in her residence. Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late Earl S. and Florence D. Yocom. Jane was a waitress at the former Rummy’s Polynesian House in Douglassville, and the Pizza Hut of Mt. Penn for over 27 years. She was a graduate of Amity High School as class valedictorian. Mrs. Markle was a member of St. Gabriel’s Lodge of Stowe, and enjoyed baking. She enjoyed bowling at both Jay Lanes of Douglassville and Bowl O Rama having made many friends over the years. Surviving is one son, William T. Markle Jr, Fleetwood, PA., one daughter, Joni J. Markle, Douglassville, PA. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am in the Houck & Gofus Funeral Home, Inc. 955 N Charlotte St., Pottstown. Relatives & Friends will be received from 10-11 am in the funeral home.
