Margaret Ethelyn Olson Westman Margaret Westman was born in Bellingham, Washington, on April 25, 1916. She died on October 26, 2007, at age 91. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mom and grandma. She was preceded in death by her parents, Olaf and Marie Haggen Olson, husband Eythor, daughter Yvonne Thomas, son Gary, and her brothers Clarence and Lester. She is survived by her daughter Janet Hrutfiord and husband Bjorn, daughter-in-law Esther Westman, grandsons Brad Hrutfiord, Brian Hrutfiord and wife Shannon, David Hrutfiord and wife Kari, Steve Hrutfiord and wife Rachel, and Tori Westman, all of Blaine, Eythor C. Westman of Seattle, Kurt Thomas and wife Stephanie of Woodinville, great-grandchildren Conner, Bella, Svenna and Bjorn. She has numerous other relatives around Whatcom County. The family is grateful for the loving care Margaret received during her last years, from Visiting Nurse Home Health Care and, later, Stafholt Good Samaritan Center in Blaine. A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Dennis Wildermouth will be held at Grace Lutheran Church in Blaine on Friday, Nov. 2nd, at 12 noon.
