Bernestine A. McNamara 87 of Charlotte, died Thursday, June 28, 2007 at the Eaton Community Hospice House in Charlotte. Mrs. McNamara was born January 15, 1920 in Portland, Michigan, the daughter of Nelson and Johanna (Treweiller) Densmore. She is survived by children, Gary McNamara of Mt. Hood, Oregon, Jeanine Harton Soma (Jim) of Dade City, Florida, Dennis (Julie) McNamara of Venice, Florida, Jeannette (Robert) Fullerton of Charlotte, Raymond (Sandra) McNamara of Potterville, Jennifer McNamara of Chatham, New Jersey, Timothy McNamara of Charlotte, and Patrick (Lisa) McNamara of Cincinnati,Ohio; 30 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas in 1996 and daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Thomas Griffin; son, Ronald McNamara; 5 grandchildren, and son-in-law, Craig Harton. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2007 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Charlotte, with Rev. Fr. Denis R. Spitzley officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Lansing. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Pray Funeral Home in Charlotte, with a Rosary Service at 8:00 p.m. Donations may be made to the Eaton Community Hospice House of Charlotte or the Cerebral Palsy Association.Email condolences to the family of Bernestine A.
