A Memorial Service for Mrs. Patricia D. "Patty" Holloway, 71, of Anniston, will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs with the Reverend Peter Hawker officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until the service hour at the funeral home. Mrs. Holloway passed away on February 17, 2014. Mrs. Holloway lived in Valdosta, GA for many years and has been a resident of Anniston since 1970. In 1973, she was voted Outstanding Professional Woman in America. She had the distinction of being the first female loan officer at Anniston National Bank then went on to own Patty's Victorian Dining and Catering and Patty's Florist and Gifts for many years. She was also a member of Anniston First United Methodist Church. She was a member and former president of the Newcomer's Club, a member of the Pilot's Club, and a member of the Credit Women of America. Mrs. Holloway is preceded in death by her grandson, Christopher Lee, and a brother, Robert "Bobby" Nichols. Mrs. Holloway is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jim Holloway, of Anniston; her daughters, Lisa Weaver and her husband, David, of Hokes Bluff, and Buffie Johnson and her husband, Randy, of White Plains; granddaughters, Ashley Johnson and Kacie Camp; great grandson, Colton Lee; a sister, Penny Tenhet, and her husband, Paul, of Tolle, Utah; two brothers, Thomas N. Nichols and his wife, Karen, and James Glen Nichols and his wife, Sunny, all of Irmo, SC; and her best friend, Pepe.
