A memorial service for Mary Elizabeth Butler, 50, of Woden Texas will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, January 18, 2014, at Laird Funeral Home. Mrs. Butler passed away January 13, 2014. She was born in Fort Hood Texas, on January 8, 1964, to the late Pearlene Elizabeth & Frederick Lee Stultz.
Mary graduated with the class of '82 from Woden High School. Then married Gary Wayne Butler March 3, 1984.
Mary loved a good cheesy joke, though she couldn't retell them. She couldn't resist buying the newest V.C. Andrews book, she has owned every one. As a military wife she gave of herself for her husband & children. Everyone could tell her grand babies loved their Nana & she loved them back fiercely. Through roses, hedgehogs, dragonflies & sweet coffee she will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, wife & mother.

Mary is joining those who have preceded her in death, her parents, Pearlene Elizabeth & Frederick Lee Stultz and son, Gregory Wayne Butler.

Mary is survived by her husband Gary Butler, two daughters: Hannah Elizabeth Rodgers, of Tulsa Oklahoma and Heather Marie Gilbreath, of Woden Texas. She is also survived by two brothers, one sister and five grandchildren: Sammuel, Faith, Johnathon, Ruby and Chyenne.
