Obituary for Robert John Swit
Swit, Robert John age 82 of Allendale died Thursday, December 5, 2013. Born in Passaic he lived in Mahwah before moving to Allendale. Robert was an Army veteran who served during the Korean Conflict. Before his retirement he was an Executive for Time-Life, New York City. He was an avid golfer and loved to travel. Surviving is his step-daughter, Tracy and her husband Leonard LaBarre of Mahwah, his grandsons, Chase and Carson. Also surviving is his sister, Loretta Swit of New York City, his step-daughter, Nicole Bartel and grandchildren, Jessi and Nikolai. He was predeceased by his wife Lucy (nee Iannacchino) Swit in 2010. Visiting Monday 6-9 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. Private cremation will be held.
