Linda “Kay” Givens Hill, age 65, of Cleveland, MS passed away Monday, October 21, 2013, in Cleveland, MS. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday October 22, 2013, at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at Ray Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Lehrton Cemetery.
Mrs. Hill was born November 26, 1947, to O.C. Givens and Erma Dell Scarbrough Givens in Greenwood, MS. She married Dan Hill April 3, 1971. She was housewife. She was a member of the Baptist church. She loved shopping and watching sports. Mrs. Hill also loved playing with her granddaughter.
She is preceded in death by her parents; O.C. Givens and Erma Dell Givens; sister-in-law, Carolyn Givens.
She is survived by her husband, Dan Hill; daughter, Dana Hill Kurts; son-in-law, Greg Kurts; granddaughter, Grace Kurts; brother, Eddie Givens. Brother and sister-n-laws, Otis Hill, Minta Hill, Billy Ray Bills, Kathy Bills, and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Ferguson, Eli Herbison, Bob Laymen, Seth Steadham and Terry. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gale Campbell and Robert Taylor.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer or St Jude Hospital.
