Aunt Katherine, you will never know how much those talks at your kitchen table mean to me. You were always so sweet, kind and humble, always the same no matter where I saw you. I will never forget how we laughed that evening when you told me the story about the time Uncle Ira took you up on the mountain to Granny Al's cabin and you were too shy to go inside and eat in front of them, so you sat in the car the entire time. You were the last of a rare generation, the last living link I had to that part of my family. I will always love you and cherish the moments I spent with you at that kitchen table.
