Mr. R. Craig Thomas, 90, passed away Wednesday the 24th of July, 2013 at Autumn Care of Marshville. He was the son of the late John Paul and Ettie Jane Preslar Thomas. He was a retired Service Manager with Ford Motor Co. He was preceded in death by his wife Mrs. Rebecca Hill Thomas. Craig was also a US Army Veteran of WWII
Funeral Services will be held 11 am Saturday at Hopewell United Methodist Church. Interment will follow with Military Honors in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the graveside on Saturday at the church.
He is survived by three sons: Johnny Thomas and wife, Elaine of Peachland, Dennis Thomas and wife, Sherry of Rocky Mount, N.C., and Scott Thomas and wife, Shannon of Peachland. Four grandchildren: Jonathan Thomas and wife, Brandi, Jason Thomas, Lauren Thomas, Stephen Thomas and wife, Sarah. Three great-grandchildren: Grayson, Alexis and Riley.
