Mrs. Lora Ann Wright Tucker, age 51, 14533 Hamlett Mill Road, New Site, AL, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013, at her residence.

Mrs. Tucker was born in Floyd County on January 17, 1962, daughter of the former Doris Currie and the late Howard Wright. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Darrell Wright. Mrs. Tucker was a graduate of Pepperell High School in Lindale and of Central Alabama Community College in Alexander City, AL. Prior to her retirement, she was employed for a number of years with Russell Manufacturing Co. in Alexander City, AL. Mrs. Tucker was a member of the Pleasant Hope Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Danny Tucker, New Site, AL; 2 daughters, Mrs. Amanda Moncrief, and her husband, Adam, New Site, AL, and Mrs. Michelle Pogue, and her husband, Tony, Piedmont, AL; 4 grandchildren, Jake Mulkey and Jayden Moncrief, both of New Site, AL, and Dakota and Dylan Davison, both of Pensacola, FL; her mother, Mrs. Doris Murdock, New Site, AL; a sister, Mrs. Fay Evans, and her husband, Danny, Lindale; a brother, C. A. Wright, and his wife, Regina, Aragon; a sister-in-law, Ms. Melissa Wright, Silver Creek; nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2013, at 2pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel with the Rev. Don Spears and the Rev. Richard Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hope Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel on Saturday from 12 noon until the service time. At other hours, they may be contacted at the residence of the brother, C. A. Wright, 1285 Morris Road, Aragon.

Pallbearers are requested to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel on Saturday at 1:30pm and include: Torey Wright, Eric Wright, Adam Moncrief, David Worley, Tony Pogue, and Bobby Joe Johnston.
