My prayers go out to Valerie's family in this time of farewell to a wonderful person. She was my friend and colleague. She was always positive and so loving to her students. She thought all of them were the most wonderful children she had ever known. And then she would meet another one and her list of wonderful children would grow. She loved her family with an intense and protective love. She filled our office with wonderful stories of her adventures and experiences. She was tremendously proud of Mark's new book that had been published. I will miss her sweet smile, her gentle soft voice, and her kind spirit. Heaven is a sweeter place with her there. We will all see her again in glory someday.
