Judy  Hill
Judy Hill, 64, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013 at her home in Windsor, Missouri.

She was born October 7, 1948, in Sedalia, Mo., the daughter of George Edward Paxton and Doris Lucille (Smith) Paxton. In 1967, in Sedalia, Mo., she married Clinton Arnold Franklin and they were the parents of 3 children. On November 3, 1984, in Sedalia, Mo., she married Jerry Wayne Hill, and he survives of the home.

Mrs. Hill had worked at the Stetson Hat Factory in St. Joseph, Mo., and International Shoe Factory in Marshall, Mo. She also worked at Town and Country Shoe Factory and J.A. Lamy Mfg. Co., both in Sedalia, Mo., for a number of years, and at Windsor Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Windsor, Mo. for a short time before her retirement. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, hand quilting, tatting, and going to garage sales and flea markets. She was the “go to person” for the grandchildren for whatever they needed. She was a sponsor of the Windsor Athletic Booster Club and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Clinton, Mo.

In addition to her husband of the home, survivors include 2 sons, Timothy Franklin and Mike Franklin, both of Windsor, Mo.; a daughter, Amanda Rowlette, Midway, Arkansas; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; a brother, Danny Paxton, La Monte, Mo.; a nephew; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor, Mo. The family will receive friends before the service on Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m., at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Bothwell Regional Health Center/Cancer Foundation.
