David P Hayes, 77, of Hobe Sound, FL, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Salerno Bay Manor in Stuart. He was born in Boston, MA and was a resident of Hobe Sound since 1991 coming from Norwood, MA. David was a letter carrier for 27 years and worked at the new VA Hospital as a transporter. He was a life time member of the Knights of Columbus (Council 6241) and he was a third degree Knight. He was also a member of St. Andrew's St. Vincent de Paul Society. He was of the Catholic Faith, St. Christopher's Church, Hobe Sound, Fl.
Preceded in death by his Brother Donald and sister Joan.
He is survived by his Wife of 45 years, Donna y Hayes of Hobe Sound, FL, Sister Virginia Hayes of Chicago, Ill.
A memorial mass will be held at St Christopher Catholic Church, 12001 SE Federal Hwy, Hobe Sound, Fl. on Tuesday May 14, at 10:30am.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, 2200 Cove Road, Stuart, Fl. 34997.
