Clifford Glenn  Butler
Clifford Glenn Butler, of Thompsonville, 75, died April 28, 2013 at Munson Medical Center. Born in Ann Arbor, on May 26, 1937, the son of Clifford and Esther Butler. Cliff married Deborah S. Lowry on December 9, 1983.
In 1977, after 22 years of honorably serving, Cliff retired from the U.S. Navy. He also worked as the bus mechanic at Benzie Central Schools, for 12 years.
Cliff was a Michigan outdoorsman, enjoying most of what it had to offer, mushroom hunting in the spring, hunting in the fall, and fishing. Cliff also enjoyed gardening, especially growing his own grapes to make his own wine to share with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah; children, Teresa M. Rives and Jennifer M. Jones both of Florida, and Mark J. McClellan, Jr. of Thompsonville; mother, Esther M. Rockwell of Benzonia; 3 grandsons and 4 granddaughters; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; step sisters, Bev Rockwell, Kathy McArthur and Linda Dalman and Patti Rodebush.
He was preceded in death by brother, Michael and father, Cliffordand step brother, "Bud" Rockwell.
