Funeral services for our beloved Brittany Marie McBride Pierce, 25, will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Laird Funeral Home with Pastor Allen Pierce officiating. Burial will follow at Union Springs Cemetery. She passed away to be with our Heavenly Father on April 27, 2013, in Nacogdoches, Texas. She was born on December 15, 1987 in Nacogdoches, Texas to Donald Ray McBride and Janice Whiteside.
Brittany was raised in Central Heights and loved her husband, Joshua Verner Pierce and adored her lovely daughters. She enjoyed Mexican food, music, horseback riding and spending time with her friends and family. She was very creative and fun loving.
She is survived by her husband, Joshua Verner Pierce; daughters, Brylee Marie Pierce and Brynna Marie Pierce; mother Janice and step-father Johnny Whiteside; father, Donald Ray McBride and step mother, Sherry; brother, Donald Lance McBride and wife, Lara; Step-brother, Kevin Whitaker and wife, Jessica; sister-n- laws , Jeannie Marie Peters and husband, Preston; Miranda Lee Pierce and Chulo Castillo; mother and father-n-law, Sherry L. and Frank Rodriguez; step father and mother, Michael W. and Carla D. Whitehead; grandparents, Carolyn Denton, Johnny Denton, George McBride, Margarete Jinkins, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will be greatly missed and loved forever.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Betty McBride.
Pallbearers will be Coby Smith, Chulo Castillo, Michael Derby, Kevin Whitaker, Blake Livingston, and Jason Watkins.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Denton, William Randall, Michael Whitehead and Johnny Whiteside.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 from 5-7 PM at Laird Funeral Home.
