Obituary for Dennis E. Hoffman

Dennis E.  Hoffman
Dennis E. Hoffman, 66 of Mill Hall, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2013 in Moon Twp., Pa. He was born on November 22, 1946 in Lock Haven, the son of Herman and Margaret Wian Hoffman.

On July 13, 1968 he married Rosalie Albright on July 13, 1968 at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Mill Hall she survives at home.

Dennis graduated from Williamsport Area Community College with certification in Air Frame & Power Plant. He went on to study jet engine mechanics at Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa Oklahoma. He was employed as an aircraft mechanic for U.S. Air retiring after 34 years of service.

He was a member of the Living Faith Free Methodist Church in Mill Hall and a founding member of the Living Faith Annual Car Show. He was a lifetime member of the Piper Museum, Avanti Owners Association International Car Club, and Studebakers Drivers Club.

Dennis enjoyed automobiles, particularly "Classic" autos.

Along with his wife, he is survived by one brother; Leonard (Gail) Hoffman of Mill Hall, four nieces; Donna Marie Smith, Alicia Kay Albright, Faith Bassig, and Jennifer Sanders, one nephew; Richard "Rick" Albright , five great-nephews and two great nieces.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 26, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Living Faith Free Methodist Church, 7175 Nittany Valley Dr., Mill Hall with the Rev. Brian W. Billings officiating. Friends and family will be received Thursday, April 25, 2013 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the church. There will be an additional visitation Friday morning one hour prior to the service at the church from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Mill Hall with the Rev Karl Runser officiatiing at graveside.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Living Faith Free Methodist Church, 7175 Nittany Valley Dr., Mill Hall, Pa. 17751
