Mrs Luba Davenport
I was a fairly new LPN @ SUH and worked in Dr A's first RCU on 6A in the '60's-70's. I remember well how everyone quaked when he would be due for rounds, and, I remember how well he was respected. He always treated me with kindness, so, I did not fear him. I recall how tickled, yet, awe-struck I was when he once asked me if I was "interested in the arts and music" ? Me ?! I was barely into my 20's and that type concert was not in my life....I'm sure everyone was immensely proud, yet humbled, to have been in this great man's life in whatever capacity.
My condolences.
It's his turn to be cared for gently by the Angels.
His turn to be blessed.
