Mrs. Roseanna “Rosie” Baker, age 62, of Johnson City, passed away Friday, March 1, 2013, in the Johnson City Medical Center.

Mrs. Baker was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City. She was the daughter of the late William Baxley and Anna Laura Blevins Baxley. In addition to her parents one daughter, Diana Kay Baker Blowers, also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Baker was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband of forty-four years, Louis Baker; two daughters, Laura Renee Baker Shipley and her husband Robert and Sonya Ray Baker; five grandchildren; Ty Corbin Shipley, Justin Tank Blowers, Sara Megan Shipley, Amber Renee Blowers and Jacob Kane Blowers; one great grandchild, Jordynn K. Blowers; special nephews, Steve and Scott Blevins; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service for Mrs. Roseanna “Rosie” Baker will be conducted at a later date.
