Joshua Michael “Josh” Anderson, 22 passed away February 3, 2013. A visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00pm, Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 5409 NW 72nd Street, Kansas City, MO followed by a Celebration of Life Ceremony at 7:00pm. Inurnment will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 8 at Dover Cemetery, Dover MO.
Josh was born May 24, 1990 in Kansas City, MO. He graduated in 2008 from Richmond High School. Josh loved playing basketball and football; so much he went on to coach Little League basketball and football. Josh would later go on to work with his dad, Michael Anderson, at the Northland Sports Alliance where he and his dad would keep the park looking and running perfect.
Josh was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Gary Barber and his aunt, Mandi Anderson. He is survived by his father and step-mother, Michael and Kelly Anderson; mother and step-father, Margaret and Robert VanOster; his brothers and sisters, Zach, Brianna, Destiny, Kayla, Dylan and Devin; paternal grandmother, Evelyn Anderson; paternal grandfather, Tom Anderson; maternal grandmother, Bonnie Waggoner-Ralston; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that loved him very much.
Josh was a selfless young man who was loved by so many and will be missed by all that knew him.
