Mrs. Martha H. Mullis, 76, passed away on Wednesday the 9th of January, 2013 at Hospice House of Union County. She was the daughter of the late Charles Odell and Pansy Ginn Henson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Mrs. Beaulah Peterson, two brothers: Mr. Olin Henson and Mr. Bill Henson, a niece Pat Peterson and a nephew Larry Keith Henson.
Funeral Services will be 11am Saturday the 12th of January, 2013 at Hamilton Crossroads Baptist Church. Visitation will be 7pm-8:30pm Friday at Morgan & Son Funeral Home.
She is survived by her husband Mr. Leonard E. Mullis of Marshville. One son; Mr. Terry E. Mullis and his fiancé Nancy of Sevierville Tn. One daughter Mrs. Sherry M. Casey and her husband Kevin of Marshville. One brother Mr. Charles O. Henson, Jr. of Michigan and one sister Mrs. Jean Helms and her husband Charlie of Chester S.C. Five Grandchildren: Tammy Sellers and her husband Ernie, Tonya Helms and her husband Johnny, Mandy Chalk and her husband Jay, Anneliese Casey and Sean Casey. Nine Great-Grandchildren: Allen Henley, Tommy Henley, Rachel Morton, Austin Helms, Gracie Marie Sellers, Aiden Helms, Grayson Helms, Will Chalk, Cade Chalk. And a very special niece Mrs. Norma Broome and her husband Lloyd.
