Condolence: Mrs. Carter was my CBE teacher in 1977/1978. She inspired many, gave us skills for life use, confidence, the importance of humor and wit and it was a joy to have known her. I am so saddened to hear of her loss. I meant to call her every time I was in Blairsville and now of course have regrets. I know that her family will miss her, she was a true gem. She will never be forgotten and I am forever grateful for all that she gave me during that short year in high school! She changed many lives and is responsible for the success of so many of us! Godspeed Mrs. Carter!!

Condolence: Everyone at our shop was very sad to hear of Mrs. Carter passing away. She was so funny and always smiling, even coming in to get an estimate. She will be greatly missed.

Condolence: My thoughts and prayers are with you and all the family of Jean. She was a model for all. We in the Garden Club have experienced her love for children through the many hours of kindness she dedicated to them. My own children's garden club was inspired by her example.

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear about the death ofMiss Jean. She and I worked together on many Youth projects for The Garden Club of Georgia. One of our most happy experiences was planning a traveling Youth Camp for 9 - 13 year olds called "From the Mountains to the Sea". Jean was instrumental in talking our garden clubs into sending youth from all over the state to this camp. She will be missed by many!

Condolence: Your loss is great, and I wish I knew the words to ease your sorrow. I know you will miss Jean every day, and she will forever be in your hears and in the hearts of all the garden club members who were fortunate enough to know her.

Condolence: I'm a granddaughter of Marian Hollis, Jean's sister, and I remember Aunt Jean so fondly. Many prayers for those who love her, and comfort during this time of sorrow.
