Obituary for John J. Chandler

John J. Chandler

Age 82, of Channahon, IL., passed away suddenly, Friday, November 19, 2010 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL.

Born March 28, 1928 in Clendennin, West Virginia to the late John A. and Cora (Hinkle) Chandler, he was a longtime resident of Channahon.

Survived by his wife of 65 years, Gaynelle (Caudill); six children, Warren (Ann) , John F. , Danny (Cheryl) , Debbie (Tim) Osborne, Gayla Wagner and Robin Chandler all of Illinois. Twenty-one grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren survive as well as several nieces and nephews in the Madison and Charleston, West Virginia areas.

Preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Patricia Roulo; three brothers, Luther, Hoyt and Mark; five sisters, Frances, Mary, Beulah, Eula and Maxine.

Funeral services will take place Saturday, November 27, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at the Handley Funeral Home in Danville, W. VA. Interment to follow in the Miller Family Cemetery in Mud River, W. VA. Visitation Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until the services begin at the funeral home.

Local visitation will be held Monday evening, November 22 from 6:30 until a Memorial service begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home in Morris,IL.
