Mixed Up Mom
I already shared this story with Ben, but I remember being at a McDonald's playground when Ben and I were in kindergarten and I fell and hurt myself and was scared and confused and instead of running to my mom, I ran to Mrs. Orr instead. I realized after some time that she wasn't my mom, but I kept crying and hugging anyway, because I knew she could make it better. She did make it better, like good mamas do. She will be missed, but her impact on the world will live on. Thank you, Mrs. Orr, for being one of the good ones.
