Obituary for Elizabeth Rhyan Johnson (Martin)
Elizabeth Rhyan Johnson was born on November 7, 1917 in Tulsa, OK to Alfred Martin and Gladys (Perry) Martin. Elizabeth passed from this life on Thursday, November 22, 2012 at the age of 95.
She worked for several years in the Sears credit department and typed transcription documents for her late husband, Joel Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Alvin Joseph Rhyan in 1968 and her second husband, Joel H. Johnson, in 2008. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Head and Elizabeth "Betty" Slover, both of Tulsa; a sister, Betty Sue Mizer, of Tulsa; a brother, Floyd Martin, of Salida, CO; 2 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several great great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7PM Tuesday at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home. Graveside service 2:00 P.M. Wednesday Memorial Park Cemetery.
