Donna L. Wiederkehr, 74, of Greeley, passed away at Life Care Center on November 11, 2012. She was born on June 26, 1938 in Joplin, MO, to Anton and Birdie Fern (Mitchell) Gudenkauf.
She married Kenneth Wiederkehr on March 20, 1960 in Greeley. He passed in September of 2009.

Donna graduated from College High School.

She worked in the banking industry for 25 years before retiring to take care of her grandchildren.

Family was very important to Donna. She enjoyed gardening, roses and flowers, sewing and taking care of family. After suffering a stroke in 2005 she became a permanent resident of Life Care Center where she was active in Resident’s Council, a leader in activities, and a friend to all. She was a fantastic mother, grandmother and wife. Neighbors were very important and they were blessed with a great neighborhood for many years.

She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Wiederkehr, Denver, CO, and Patricia (Jim) Flores, Greeley, CO; sisters, Wilma (Bob) Butler, Greeley, CO, and Ann Catt, Clarkston, ID; grandchildren, V.J., Kayelee and Trey Flores, Greeley; and numerous nieces and nephews: and her dear friend, Carmen Grande, Colorado Springs, CO.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 16, 2012 at the Allnutt Macy Chapel. Interment at Linn Grove Cemetery. Reception in the Allnutt Reception Center.
