Mitchell Faye "Faye"  Ketcherside (Standridge)
Mitchell “Faye” Ketcherside was born December 23. 1932 in Mazie, Oklahoma to Floyd Standridge (deceased) and Lola McGlasson-Standridge (deceased). She had two sisters; Johnny Charlynn Standridge-Isabel (deceased) and Mayetta Standridge-McCullough (deceased).
Faye was a high school graduate, a wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker and volunteer. She was married two times, both of her husbands were church of Christ ministers.
Her first marriage was to Donald Kenneth Lively (deceased) to which two daughters were born; Peggy Ann Lively (Still born) and Donna Faye Lively-Carter. Donna bore her two grandsons; Anthony and Jason Carter.
Faye courageously raised her daughter for 16 ½ years alone before marrying again. Her second marriage was to Paul Slater Ketcherside (deceased). In this marriage she acquired a large family: two sons, Mike Ketcherside and Paul “Butch” Ketcherside; and five daughters, Victoria Dennison (deceased), Sonya Essman, Kay Little (deceased) , Jeanne Rodriquez and Debbie Boatman. As a Ketcherside, she could boast of being grandmother to twelve, great grandmother to twenty-five, and great great grandmother to four.
Faye Volunteered with the Nowata Senior Center and participated with the “Blessed to the Bone” Ministry group that ministered at two Oklahoma mens prisons and the John 3:16 Mission. When she wasn’t homemaking or volunteering, she loved to travel, shop and go to church. She and her daughter traveled to many destinations over the years, her favorite being Branson, Missouri.
