Imogene Wansley Drake, 91, formerly of Elberton, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2012, in Fishers, Indiana.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Leila Wansley; and brothers, Vernon and Curtis Wansley. She graduated from Reinhardt University in 1942 with an Associate of Arts degree and retired in 1986 from Inland Steel Company in Chicago after thirty years of service.

Imogene is survived by her son, Curt "Dennie" Drake and wife, Sarah, of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Holli and Andy Liechty of Noblesville, Indiana and Paul Drake of Chicago; great-grandchildren, Gabe, Rafe, and Lily; brother, Mitchell and Camilla Wansley; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Berry Funeral Home on Thursday, November 8, from 9:30AM - 11:00AM. Funeral services will be follow at 11:00AM at the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home. Private burial will immediately follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 1025 Welcome Church Road, Elberton, Georgia 30635.
