To Shelby's Family, My name is Catherine Dunn. I am the Dental Hygiene Program Director at MDCC. Miranda Little is one of our students in the DH Program. I had the pleasure of having a heart felt conversation with Miranda about Shelby. Your Shelby sounds like a WONDERFUL person and a great friend. Miranda stated, "Shelby always had a smile on her face and was there for me no matter what." She also described how much she LOVED her little brother, saying noone understood him like she did. Please know that your daughter will be greatly missed by many people. I have said several prayers for your family and will continue to pray for you during this difficult time. A book I recommend reading is, Jesus Calling by Sara Young. Her words offer strength and encouragement each and every day of the year. I hope God's presence will be felt during this trying time.
