Regina E.  Lawler (LaRose)
AUBURN- Regina E. Lawler, 95, of Auburn died Sunday evening October 7, 2012 at the Hospice House of Androscoggin with her family by her side.
She was born in Old Town, Maine on July 25, 1917 the daughter of the late Dominique and Eva (Talon) LaRose.
She was a graduate of Edward Little High School Class of 1936. She then started a family that grew to fourteen children where she was a full time Mom until she started a career as the assistant manager at Oak Park where she was also the first resident in 1984.
She was a parishioner at the former St. Joseph’s Church for many years. She was an avid traveler which included Florida, Europe and Israel. She was past Madame President of the fraternal order of Eagles Auxiliary, member of the voter registration of Auburn, member of the Red Hat Society and the Rebekahs. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, fishing and spending time at the family island. She began driving an automobile at the age of 60 and at age 85 she completed the computer for seniors course where she learned to email and surf the web.
She is survived by seven sons J. John Lawler and his wife Susan of Lincoln, RI, William T. Lawler and his wife Aldea of Turner, Patrick R. Lawler and his wife Betty of Niceville, Fl., Dennis B. Lawler and his wife Anne of Auburn, James D. Lawler and his wife Pandora of Auburn, Gary J. Lawler and his wife Norma of Topsham and Roland O. Lawler of Biddeford; six daughters Anita M. Hamel of Lewiston, Ruth E. and her husband John Eliot of Auburn, Evelyn M. and her husband David Roy of Turner, Maureen R. and her husband Gary Campbell of Lewiston, June M. and her husband Don Timpany of Sabattus, Judy M. and her husband Ronald Ducharme of Winslow; a daughter-in-law Suzanne Lawler of Largo, Fl.; 32 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren; a half sister Florence Cote; three half brothers Marcel, Raymond and George Cote; and by a very close cousin Dolly Burns
She was predeceased by a son Michael Lawler; her former husband Joseph J. Lawler and by her companion Roland Dumais.

Lawler- Died in Auburn Sunday October 7, 2012. Regina E. age 95 a resident of Auburn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday 11:00AM at Sacred Heart Church in Auburn. Committal services will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the YMCA of Auburn/Lewiston 62 Turner St., Auburn Maine 04210. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9PM at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, Lewiston 784-4023.
