Ryan was born June 27, 1988 in Danbury, CT. He attended Trumbull and Fairfield High Schools in Connecticut, where he excelled in a variety of sports, but especially football and lacrosse. His love of football followed him to Chicago, where he coached the Mt. Greenwood Colts 7th & 8th grade boys team. He attended Harold Washington College in Chicago, IL. Chicago is also where he met his future wife, Carolyn. They moved to Kansas City in the summer of 2010 with plans of starting a family.

Ryan married Carolyn Fendler on July 29, 2011. She and their daughter, Ady, were the loves of Ryan’s life, and the best of his days were spent with them. He was a loving husband and father, whose number one priority was always his family. He also found great joy in being “Uncle Wyan” to Ady’s cousins.
