Surviving are his wife, Arlus; 2 sons: Donald (fiancé, Lisa Osterhaus) of North Buena Vista, IA and Patrick (fiancé Jenny Johnson) of Bettendorf, IA; 3 grandchildren: Selena, Lucas and Elizabeth; his mother, Martha (Lloyd) Miller of North Platte, Nebraska; 2 sisters, Tonie and Vera and 1 brother Jim; Parents-in-law, Don and Mary Ludovissy, of North Buena Vista, IA; 4 brothers-in-law; Lynn (Karen) Ludovissy, Henry (Heather) Ludovissy, Dan (Kim) Ludovissy and Harvey (Mandy) Ludovissy, all of North Buena Vista, IA; 4 sisters-in-law: Alice (Duane) Phelps of Colesburg, IA, Aggie Lammers (friend, John Houston) of Marion, IA, Amy (Robbie) Vonderhaar of Osterdock, IA and Donna Ludovissy, of North Buena Vista, and Phil’s wife, Sherry Ludovissy of Dubuque, IA. John was preceded in death by his father, a brother-in-law, Phillip Ludovissy, and his son’s special friend, Stacey Blake. John was born October 30, 1940 in Davenport, IA the son of Charles and Martha (Wilson) Keller. He married Arlus Ludovissy on October 1, 1981 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. He was employed as a Machinist for Eden’s Automatic, Inc. in Davenport. He enjoyed NASCAR, his grandchildren and helping his wife on the Quad City Times paper route with over 350 customers over the last 10 years.
