Marie Bush Weeks, 68, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord Thursday, August 2, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, James "Butch" and Pauline Honaker Bush, and her former husband, Waitman Wayne Weeks.

Surviving are her daughter, Teresa Marie Weeks Lavender and husband Stacey; son, David Wayne Weeks, all of Roanoke; grandsons, David and Michael Weeks; and three great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, August 6, 2012 in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Steve Russell. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. 366-0707
