for the family of Chris Connelly--on behalf of my sons who now live away from CT, but while at Glastonbury High (classes of '79 and '83), appreciated having such a fine English teacher. I remember this even now so many years later. Great teachers live on in memory. Please accept our condolences and sadness upon hearing of Mr. Connelly's passing.

Had it not been for Mr. Connelly, I never would have survived high school. I will forever be grateful to him for his compassion and understanding and for sharing his love of writing and literature. He inspired and encouraged me to pursue a higher education as a non-traditional student despite my limited resources. What an incredible loss. My heart goes out to his friends and family.
